NMUN 2010
A warm welcome to the web pages of the NMUN delegation of the German YOUTH FOR UNDERSTANDING Committee.
In the year 2010 too, a delegation of twelve will be heading to New York in order simulate the United Nation's work. Special about it: NMUN takes place in the worldwide headquarters of the UN.
The twelve students approach the conference with anticipation and diverse expectations. They are ready to go and currently prepare intensively for their journey onto the international diplomatic stage.
The delegation is composed of engaged participants from all over Germany and couldn't be more diverse. The project gains from all different interests, fields of studies and intercultural experiences that every individual participant incorporates. What draws together and inspires all delegates? Moreover do the participants not only get to know the system United Nations with its contents - it is their task too to work out financing for the eintire project. So the delegation is always eager to find engaged donors.

Greetings from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Germany's Minister of Foreign Affairs endorses the NMUN-project and wrote a greeting to the delegation in which he states that engagement for the UN makes the knowledge of young people tomorrows potential.
